First-Year Seminar Mentors are crucial members of the First-Year Seminar Program. Mentors set the example of what it means to be a student at Trinity for their first-year students, as they help foster critical and reflective engagement. With our mentors being experienced students, who are selected by their professors for their academic achievement and leadership abilities, they guide First-Year students to become bold, independent thinkers who lead transformative lives.

First-Year Mentors bridge the gap between academics and student life. They act as liaisons and help support the transition from high school to college by encouraging their First-Year students to pursue academic and social opportunities on and off campus.

Mentors may be sophomores, juniors, or seniors, and are here to support their First-Year students during their time at Trinity.
