I am fortunate to have many fond moments from my time at Trinity. One of my favorite moments is from the night of my first snowfall on campus. It was during my first semester at college. My friends and I were eating dinner in Mather when someone shouted that it was snowing. We grabbed our coats and hats and rushed outside to see the first snowflakes of the season. We were laughing and dancing and playing Christmas music and taking photos and videos to send to our parents and friends back home. Some of us had never seen snow before, and some of us had grown up with white winters every year. It didn’t matter. It was as if we were all experiencing snow for the first time, given how excited and happy we were.
